Good Morning Beauties! We are so ready to kick off a new week and we wanted to do it in style so with the help of some amazing images by Jessica Lauren Media. Breisa & Colin’s outdoor engagement is completely adorable! We love that they created a road trip out of their engagement session, and one of the best parts of the shoot is when they asked Jessica to be one of their bridesmaids. Congrats to Breisa & Colin!
From Jessica Lauren Media:
Colin and Breisa (or Breezy) have been dating for five years. They are getting married on June 24th in Kentucky but traveled five hours to get to Wooster, Ohio where I am. I became friends with Breezy in August of 2011 and Colin shortly after.
What was unique with this session is that we traveled all day to different locations that fit the style of the couple. In all, we worked for about 5 hours taking photos. We started by traveling 30 minutes to a small wooden Chapel overlooking a pond with a willow tree outside.
We then moved to Oak Hill Park about 30 minutes from there and took photos on top of a sledding hill and in a field of wheat-like plants.
During this session, they were given congratulatory honks during dips and kisses, shared a dance in the middle of a town square, and made friends with strangers in the coffee shop and at the park. Another special piece to this engagement session was that midway through, Colin and Breezy pulled a surprise of asking me to be a bridesmaid by turning around a save the date poster.
From there we drove 15 minutes to Sure House Coffee downtown and enjoyed mochas, macchiatos, and cretzels (yes, cretzels! Croissant style pretzels with chocolate ganache inside!) and finished off in a couple of hip places along the streets of downtown Wooster.
Between each picture, Colin would encourage Breezy and shower her with love. I frequently would hear “this is easy, I’m just being asked to stare into the eyes of the most beautiful woman .. maybe I’ll propose again, just because I can.” These two are playful and genuine. The entire day was magical, the weather was almost 60 degrees which is uncommon (it snowed the following three days), and I was able to share a beautiful piece of North East Ohio with these two.
