After 4 years of friendship and 8 years of dating, Tina and Levi tied the knot in a beautiful Garden Wedding captured by Perpixel Photography.
The candle-lit romantic ballroom for the reception, inspired by a backyard dinner atmosphere was breathtaking, but not as breathtaking as the bride in her exquisite gown and really amazing shoes. The men looked sharp in their tuxedos and the ladies looked beautiful in their gowns, including the little bride!
It was a lovely and beautiful wedding ceremony, and we wish Tina and Levi a lifetime of exploring life, love, and everything the world has to offer!
From Perpixel Photography:
Tina and Levi tied the knot at the historic Casino Estate located in San Clemente, CA. SO many beautiful details sprinkled all throughout the venue and they totally transformed the reception room into a lovely, candle-lit, romantic ball room. So many great moments but the coolest moment was when the couple decided to honor Levi’s grandparents. The grandparents did not have a “first dance” at their wedding so they opened the dance floor for them to enjoy a dance while everyone was cheering them on.
From the Groom:
1) How did you guys meet, how long did you date for?
It was freshman year of high school when we met and became part of a close-knit group friends. After four years of movie nights, pool days, bonfires and beach trips, we had grown into best friends. After high school we quickly realized that our wonderful friendship was actually the seed of a blossoming romance. We went on inseparable — dating for eight years while earning our college degrees and starting our careers. And now we look forward to being man and wife, together exploring life, love, and everything the world has to offer!
Favorite part of your wedding?
If we had to name one moment, it might be after the ceremony when we walked over to the patio to join our guests for cocktail hour. It was such an awesome feeling standing on the steps and seeing all of our friends and family hanging out in the sun, enjoying some appetizers and drinks, and listening to music. We stood for a second to soak it all in, then walked out there to join in on the fun.
We really loved the idea of a romantic, backyard dinner atmosphere. Our vision was an intimate garden setting with lots of surrounding greenery and natural looking florals. We love the feeling of sitting at a long table with all of your close friends, chatting over a cocktail and some really good food. So we made that our focus and went from there.
What’s the story behind your grandparent’s first dance? (so sweet!!)
My grandparents were celebrating their 60th anniversary on the week of my wedding, so we wanted to congratulate them on their long and successful marriage on the same day Tina and I were just beginning ours. My grandpa had told me that back in the ’50s it wasn’t yet customary to have a first dance, and it wasn’t very common to stray from tradition back then either. Then he showed me a song that they would have danced to if they had the chance. So Tina and I arranged to surprise them during the reception with a special moment on the dance floor, where they could have their first dance to their special song. =)
