Good Morning Beauties! Lets kick Monday off right with this amazing quintessential New York Engagement. Now I have to admit New York is one of my favorite places on earth, and having a date with my husband that includes a good cup of coffee and sight seeing, well that sounds just like heaven! So when Katie & Josh’s stunning New York engagement hit my desk not sharing it wasn’t an option!
Meredith Jane Photography did a phenomenal job capturing the love that this couple shares. With Katie’s impeccable stye and Josh’s flawless look these two are the perfect NYC couple.
My day with Katie and Josh could not have gone more perfectly and they were everything I could hope for of a Meredith Jane Photography couple- warm, loving and fun. We started at sunrise on the Brooklyn Bridge in hopes of being one of the few ever to have it to ourselves, and it worked!
Five minutes later, we were swarmed by early joggers and other photographers hoping to catch a glimpse of this morning’s beautiful sunrise. Nevertheless, Katie looked stunning in her Adelyn Rae black lace dress from Nordstrom. We continued to the bottom of the bridge where locks from other lovers created a beautiful backdrop and detail to their loving engagement session.
Josh and Katie were so natural in front of my camera, I couldn’t have asked for better results, it was simply stunning. After a quick outfit change, we ventured to Josh’s old neighborhood and where they spent much of the beginning of their relationship.
Katie wore a gorgeous fitted Karen Millen shirt with Rag and Bones jeans, and it complimented josh’s short sleeve casual henley perfectly. Josh absolutely loves dogs and there was an absolute cutie waiting for us as we walked by their favorite coffee house, Toby’s Estate in Brooklyn.
We finished our day inside Toby’s, where Josh always get’s coffee and Katie always get’s tea. The two lovingly snuggled in the corner and enjoyed the warmth of their coffee to finish off the chilly start to their engagement session. What a beautiful relationship they have and I am honored to have been able to capture a small glimpse of it!
