Who says stormy weather is bad weather? Not us! This adorably cozy rainy day engagement shot by has us longing for overcast skies and the pitter-patter of water droplets against our rooftops (inside with a cup of tea, of course!). Despite the rain, Monica and Zach decided to proceed with their engagement session even if they got a bit wet; the results are absolutely breathtaking! Check them out for yourself:

This was one of those engagement sessions we rarely get to shoot because the day of, it was rainy and cold. Usually, couples want to cancel the shoot on account of bad weather, despite the fact that this can make for some amazing and unique images. Luckily, Monica and Zach were happy to oblige and we went ahead with the shoot.Monica and Zach both went to the University of Minnesota for college, so we started the session there. We had never shot there, so it was a nice change, especially due to the beautiful buildings the college has. We then went to the ever popular Stone Arch Bridge which had all of three people on it due to the weather. This is entirely unheard of. Usually the bridge is packed, so we were able to get a lot of great photos of them that we would never have been able to otherwise. Our last stop was the Guthrie Theater for some fun silhouette shots.
