For me, mint green is one of those colors!
This week I used a polish from a line I’ve never tried before. This beautiful mint green color from Maybelline Color Show got my attention. The color is No. 320, “Green with envy” and it is the absolute definition of a mint green.
After one application I could tell it was a thinner formula and very streaky so I used a tip that is incredibly helpful in applying more difficult polishes! I took a matte top coat (mine is by Revlon) and applied a thin layer of the matte top coat after I applied one coat of my mint polish. After it dried, I went back in with another coat of my mint polish and it really helps with a more even application! Follow that with your favorite top coat to finish the look. I use “Out the door” topcoat. This has been such a handy tip for all my streaky polishes that are hard to apply! I love my minty fresh nails!
Happy painting!
